Hedgley Homes derives its name and guiding philosophy from the historic Hedgeley Homestead, located in the scenic Esk Valley of Hawke’s Bay.  The enduring character and thoughtful development of the homestead continue to influence our approach to construction and collaboration.

The origins of Hedgley Homes can be traced back to our director, whose career began in the construction sector in Malaysia. There, he acquired significant experience in home sales, client relations, and project management for two distinguished developers. 

Seeking a more hands-on involvement in his career, he relocated to New Zealand’s South Island, where he has dedicated the past eight years to overseeing residential projects that prioritize family needs.
