Our team is led by Ziggy Conroy, who a few years ago, saw a real need for client connection and clearer communication in the construction industry. He started Zen Builders with this as his focus – creating long term relationships with clients who were building or renovating their dream homes through open communication and transparency.
It’s hard for us to put into words how we feel when we help our clients renovate or build their dream homes. When we drive through the suburbs of Christchurch and Canterbury and reminisce on past projects, we feel a huge sense of accomplishment and pride, knowing that we had an impact on people’s lives. It doesn’t matter if the project was large or small, we know that the home is now a better place to live in.

Our team has 20+ years of building experience. We support new talent through apprenticeships. We’re proudly part of the NZ Certified Builders, ensuring high standards. We have Licensed Building Practitioners for restricted work and a great crew of subcontractors who share our values. At Zen Builders, our values guide everything we do.
